Overview

Odíhg Temcizav was founded durring the early 14th century in spring of the year 1321, by Èdsîpî Cadward. The establishment of Odíhg Temcizav was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Odíhg Temcizav's construction back out of the project. Èdsîpî Cadward pushed on reguardles, and Odíhg Temcizav was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Odíhg Temcizav was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Temcizav is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Odíhg Temcizav is was constructed arround several premissive cobblestone mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Odíhg Temcizav's size could have. Astonishigly, the well-designed, yet cheep are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Odíhg Temcizav has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Odíhg Temcizav’s streets. The town is very clearly a joyfull place as well as relaxing. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Cultural Notes

Odíhg Temcizav's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

In Odíhg Temcizav there are unidentifiable people in the fog, but it seems to be okay.

The Gravebound near Odíhg Temcizav are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Odíhg Temcizav's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves line dance to channel Illusion energies of tier 2 via guttural bellowing.

Points of Interest

Odíhg Temcizav is cursed with recurrent spells of some troublesome disease. The affliction isn’t so fatal as to make living there impossible, but it adds suffering and expense to local lives. The plague might be the product of an ancient curse, the results of long lost toxic remains, or an unavoidable byproduct of whatever industry or purpose justifies the city. It’s probably not overly contagious, but visitors may be in some peril all the same.

Odíhg Temcizav's roads were poorly made when first laid. Rather than repairing them correctly, a series of new roads was laid atop the old, leading to the streets of modern Odíhg Temcizav suffering from potholes, cracking, and even sinkholes. The locals often repair the road by putting down wooden decking.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami spared the town from the rampage of a legendary monster. One of Odíhg Temcizav's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
